Details for Sunday training.
When: Achilles training is on at 8: 00 am on the first, third and fifth Sundays of the month.
Where: At the picnic tables beside Lake Ginninderra near Belconnen Skateboard Park.
Contact: Email:firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 0414831649
By car: Park car in Soundy Close, and walk 40 metres down a gentle slope to the picnic tables beside Lake Ginninderra.
By bus: Action bus route 900 departs at 7.30am Sundays from Tuggeranong Station and arrives at 8.30am at the Belconnen station which is about 500m away.
Training: We walk or run round Lake Ginninderra for an hour, taking in the sights, sounds and smells of the foreshore, including John Knight Memorial Park, the footbridge over the wetland inlet, the Arts Centre, Yerra Beach, Kangara Waters, and Diddams Close Park. We walk and run on paths shared with the public, including cyclists. In using public spaces, we do so, of course, at our own risk. However, our guides will ensure that we interact carefully and courteously with other users.
After training : Coffee afterwards at the picnic tables beside the lake or at the nearby Lighthouse bar if it’s raining.
Contact : Please advise Peter by email (preferably) email@example.com or phone 0414831649 and, if disabled, please advise the nature of your disability.
